Transmission Adapter for a 2003-2018 CR Cummins to 2003-2010 zf6 6.0/6.4
Precision machined transmission adapter comes with all the necessary hardware for a seamless installation.
Adapter has clearance to allow for a rear mount coolant bypass from all manufactures.
Adapter is designed to use a SACHS NFW7223 and will need to be machined to fit the 6205 pilot bearing. When used with the SACHS NFW7223 no starter spacer is needed.
Cummins Converion recommends any single disc clutch from a 99-03 7.3 zf6. They have had real good luck with a LUK 07181 clutch holding up to sub 350hp/700ft. If you have a newer 6.0/6.4 clutch you will need to have the flywheel stepped to the ford specs.
Adapter use a 03-07 6.0 Power stroke or 08-10 6.4 Power stroke Starter. They recommend the 6.4 starter as the 6.0 starter on some transmission might require bell housing clearance. On some Cummins engine a small amount of grinding is need on block to clearance starter(see last pic)
Adapter will also work on Dual Disc clutch’s
